1. MAKING A BOOKING

How do I book a tour online?
You need a valid credit card to book online. Once you have selected your preferred tour or activity, the number of people and the date(s), you will be prompted for your credit card details to confirm your booking. You will receive an on-screen confirmation of your reservation which you should print and bring to the tour with you on the day. You will also receive a confirmation email with all these details. The balance due will be clearly displayed on your booking confirmation.

What credit can I book with?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards.

If I don't have a credit card can I still book?
No. You can only book using a credit card.

Does the name on the credit card have to be the same as the name on the reservation?
If you don't have a credit card but know someone who will let you book using their card that's ok. The name on the credit card can be different to the name on the reservation. But, please remember though, in the event of a no-show our agency will charge the credit card used. Please refer to terms and conditions for more details.

Is it safe to use my credit / debit card online?
Albaniaexplorer.com is secured by Verisign, the world leader in Internet security. All information is encrypted online and transferred securely and directly.

If I am getting a card error while I am booking or waiting for my confirmation what can I do?
Credit card bookings made through this site are secure and processed through Verisign. There may be some reasons why your transaction will not go through. Please check the following and try your transaction again:
• There may be insufficient funds to cover the transaction being booked.
• You may not have filled out all the information fields requested. Please check that this is not the reason and try to complete your transaction again.

How can I check availability?
When you are reading the itinerary of a tour there is a panel to the right of the screen with a calendar on it. Available dates will be highlighted dark green. You can scroll through the calendar to the month you require (using this symbol) and check the dates available for that month.
How do I know if my booking has been confirmed?
Once your details have been processed our system will give you a voucher confirmation that will contain your booking reference number. This confirmation will also be sent to your e-mail address if you have provided one. This is your booking guarantee, so please ensure that you print it out and bring it with you when you go to take part in the tour.

I have not received my confirmation, what should I do?
Once you click the "Confirm" button it should only take up to 1 minute to receive confirmation of your booking on screen. Do not click the confirm button more than once or you will be charged more than once. We also send you a confirmation e-mail with your booking details if you have given us a valid e-mail address. Please note that due to the nature of the internet and individual e-mail servers that sometimes confirmation e-mails will not be received. In this case please get in touch through our Contact us.

Where do I pay the remainder of the money owed?
If you pay a portion of the tour price as a deposit you will be advised at time of booking when the remainder is due. Please see the terms and conditions on your confirmation email for details of payment. A penalty may occur if you do not pay the balance on time.

What do I need to do once my booking has been confirmed?
Once your booking has been confirmed you are taken to a confirmation page which contains a link to your full booking details. Please click on this link to view your full booking details and make sure that you print your booking confirmation or take note of the booking reference number as the tour provider will need this as proof of purchase.

2. TOUR INFORMATION

How do I get more information on a tour/activity?
You should first read all information on the micro-site including additional information such as reviews from previous customers, summary of the tour, (or tour company, if applied ) and previous FAQ's on this tour. This is all found in the panel on each tour details page. If you have additional queries that are not answered by the micro-site, you can use the Contact us facility. Click on this link and you will have the opportunity to ask a question directly to the Albania Explorer personnel in charge of tours.

Where are the tour's terms and conditions?
The terms and conditions of the tour are found on the details page prior to booking. You should read these terms and conditions before entering your credit card details and clicking "confirm".

Can you send me brochures with all the info on them?
No we do not send out brochures. If the information you need is not contained on the site, please feel free to e-mail a question to the tour company by clicking on Contact us, contained in the panel to the top/end of your screen.

Where can I find out about pick up points/departure points and directions? Pick-up points and directions are clearly noted on the tours micro-site page. These details will also be included on your tour booking confirmation. If you have any further queries relating to this information, full contact details of the tour will be provided on your booking confirmation.

3. CHANGING / CANCELLING A BOOKING

How can I cancel my booking?
To cancel a booking please use our Contact us form. To change the details of a booking, you will need to get in touch with the tour operator directly. You will have their details on your booking confirmation print out. Please take note of the cancellation conditions as outlined on your Confirmation email and on the booking page.

Will my payment be refunded?
This depends on the cancellation conditions applicable to each individual tour. Please read the cancellation policies at terms and conditions.
