Albania folklore is rich with inherited values, full of colors

and ideas. It includes the music, drama and literature. The literary tradition has been inherited in poems and legends, folk tales, aphorisms, etc.

 

Nowadays these wonderful folklore traditions are preserved and transmitted to generations in different ways, where most important are Folkloric Fests are organized regularly in Albania.

As concerning to the music in north is traditionally formed the monophony and in south the polyphony. The fests, weddings and other daily life events are accompanied by specific music and customs.
