DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1.

Podgorica - Kolashin – National park Biogradska gora – National park Dumitor (UNESCO World
Heritige Site). (08:00) Drive to Kolasin. Biogradska Gora is a forest and a national park in Montenegro
within Kolašin municipality. It is the site of one of the last three large virgin forests in Europe. The
landscape is one of mountain ridges, glacial lakes, and temperate forest. Lunch break.
Then continue to Zabljak. The Park is located at wide mountain region in the northwestern part of
Montenegro, surrounded by rivers Piva and Tara and there are 23 mountain tops over 2300 meters of
altitude. Park is 39000 acres large and includes 82 kilometers of canyon of the Tara with altitude of 1600
meters above river level. There are 17 glacier lakes in the Park and the highest top in Montenegro is
Bobotov kuk (2522 m). Since 1980 Park and canyon of Tara are under protection of UNESCO. In 1977
canyon was proclaimed world ecological reserve. (18:00)

Day 2.
Niksic – Perast (UNESCO World Hiritage Site) - Kotor (UNESCO). (08:00) Departure to Niksic. In the
west of Montenegro, at the field of Niksic, is the city of Niksic. Built in the 4th century BC castle ruins,
form Illyrians, its original name was Onogost. Remains of this old city are today a cultural and historic
monument. In the vicinity of Niksic, from the direction of Podgorica, high in the cliffs, is the greatest
spiritual centre of Montenegro, the Monastery of Ostrog. Founded in the12th century by Metropolitan
Vasilije that, who was later proclaimed Saint and miracle worker. In the city itself is the monumental
Saborna Church, dedicated to Saint Vasilije and surrounded by a beautiful park. Niksic is flanked by three
lakes: Krupac, Slano and Liverovici Lake. During the summer months these lakes are the main places for
day trippers and holiday makers. Niksic is also well known for its production of the famous Niksicko
beer.
Then continue to Perast. Perast is one of the most beautiful little places in Boka Bay, located just a few
kilometres from Kotor. It looks like a piece of Venice that has floated down the Adriatic. This tiny town
boasts 16 churches and 17 formerly grand palazzos.
Continue to Kotor. Visit the former palace of King Nikola, now Montenegro’s National Museum before
heading to Kotor, whose lovely mediaeval walled city has been recognized as a world heritage site by
UNESCO. (18:00)
Overnight in Kotor.
Day 3.
Budva (UNESCO) - Cetinje – National park Lovcen – Ulcinj. (08:00)Transfer to Budva. We will visit the
capital of the Montenegro tourism to enjoy the amazing combination of the wonderful beaches with the
history of the ancient, cultural and religious monuments. Visit in the Old City, Sveti Trojica Churc,
Stanjevici Monastery, Ethnologic Museum.
Then continue to Lovcen. The true spirit and rich tradition of Montenegro, the best you can feel if you
visit the National Park Lovcen. The beautiful nature will leave you breathless, and many historical
monuments will inform and bond you with Montenegro. The mausoleum on Lovcen, is a MUST VISIT
place for all the tourists. Visiting the tallest mausoleum in the world will give you an unforgettable
experience. Many say that when the weather is nice and clear, you can even see the coast of Italy from
the top. Ivanova koritais , becoming a favorite tourist destination because of the beaut.
Afterward, continue to Ulcinj. (18:00)
Overnight in Ulcinj.
Day 4.

Ulcinj – Aiport Departure. Ulcinj is part of "south coast" region of Montenegro is a popular tourist
destination with is an Albanian majority. Although still undiscovered by many travelers from larger
countries, repeat tourists and an increasing amount of first time visitors make Ulcinj a hot spot for
vacationers. Visit to the the Castle of Ulcinj, its old town is a very well preserved castle-looking
community that is left over from medieval times. The old town sits atop a mountain overlooking the
shore and is a tourist attraction on its own. End of service.
Transfer to the airport fro departure.
Note: Last day program is conducted based on flight time details departure.
